I find the artists of the renaisance the most interesting of this time period.I especially like Leonardo da Vinci and Michealangelo.They are probably the most impotant of this period and still are today

Michelangelo's David

Michelangelo was getting tired of the Medici Family so he carved David as a symbol of independence. The Medici family was considered the Goliath. This, however, backfired because David was so wonderful the Medicis wanted more and more art.

1. Michelangelo was born in 1475.
2. As a child his mother died and his father was disappointed with him as he did not like school.
3. His only interests in school was art.
4. At the age of 13 his father sent him to an artist were he became an apprentice.
5. Two years later Lorenzo de Medici asked him to study art at his own private art school.
6. In 1494 Michelangelo moved to Rome.

That is all we learned about Michelangelo so far.
