Michelangelo's David
Michelangelo was getting tired of the Medici Family so he carved David as a symbol of independence. The Medici family was considered the Goliath. This, however, backfired because David was so wonderful the Medicis wanted more and more art.

Michelangelo
- Michelangelo was born in 1475.
- As a child his mother died and his father was disappointed with him as he did not like school.
- His only interests in school was art.
- At the age of 13 his father sent him to an artist were he became an apprentice.
- Two years later Lorenzo de Medici asked him to study art at his own private art school.
- In 1494 Michelangelo moved to Rome.
That is all we learned about Michelangelo so far.
